and the Messe Stuttgart are pleased to announce the forthcoming DGfdB Congress
2024, which tThe next meeting will take place from 22 to 24 October 2024. in the framework of the
Interbad trade fair in Stuttgart.
The DGfdB Congress is one of the most important events in the sector, offering
experts in the construction and operation of toilets as well as technical equipment, a
unique platform to exchange knowledge and experience. The offer has been condensed to increase networking opportunities. The "International Session" in English is celebrating its premiere. The theme of this year's congress is "Smart and Sustainable". The congress will feature a variety of presentations, workshops and panel discussions on current topics and trends in the sector.
"We are very much looking forward to the 70th DGfdB Congress, which will be held at the same time as the 30th Interbad 2024 in Stuttgart. After the opening ceremony with the outstanding swimmer Britta Steffen, the congress will focus on topics such as the project developed with Z-punkt on municipal transformation "Toilets as an enabler in the municipality of 2030+".
Although the German bathing industry, which I am happy to describe as the "mirror of society", is considered unique in the world and many consider outdoor swimming pools to be a cultural asset, politically there is still too narrow a view of the costs.
An intelligent and sustainable transformation must work in all areas of the bathroom industry. The presentations and expert discussions in the various modules examine all facets from technical equipment and operation to a future-oriented orientation," reports Christian Mankel, President of the DGfdB.
Highlights of this year's congress include:
Inaugural event with lectures and subsequent podium discussion entitled
"Bathrooms undergoing change: the smart and sustainable transformation of bathrooms".
Presentations and sessions on the functioning of the baths, the construction of the baths and their technical equipment, the baths as actors and facilitators, the swimming pool in a social context, as well as staffing issues.
There will be networking events and an opportunity to exchange information and ideas with
colleagues and experts.
